GLORIA at May & Butchers, shipbreakers, Basin Reach, Hebridge. Built of whitewood, broke back Atlantic crossing. Burnt alongside sea wall just pre-War - and burned for a fortnight. 
She was equipped for canning sprats and was at Brightlingsea for many years. - see the Sailor's Coast page 43 or BOXB5_017_021 for a picture of her off Brightlingsea.
