A charge is not made for school parties but a donation towards expenses would be appreciated.

The photographs are from school and playgroup visits between 2006 and 2011. The school exhibition is popular in 2011, showing visitors the way things were - with slates, chalk and even the threat of the cane.
The Museum is well equippped with puzzles and quizzes to encourage further exploration.

The visit by Plume School, Maldon, on 2nd March 2009 was rather different to the other school visits. In this case the students were doing a GCSE Leisure and Tourism project and were visiting the Museum primarily to see how it is run.
