Career:Built in Germany as the Icelandic trawler FRYER.
Sold to Ross Fisheries and renamed ROSS REVENGE.
1970s became a salvage ship and tug.
August 1983 to November 1991 was at sea broadcasting as Radio Caroline.
Oct 1993 laid up in the River Blackwater off Bradwell. Local boats ran trips out to her for the Radio Caroline fans.
After leaving the Blackwater, she spent a period broadcasting off Clacton on Sea, before going into London to broadcast from the Docklands. Since then she has spent periods in Chatham, Queenborough, Southend, and Rochester, before moving to her current berth [2010] in the Port of Tilbury, where she was undergoing restoration.
1 August 2014 arrived back in the Blackwater in tow GPS AVENGER. www.radiocaroline.co.uk says this is her 'new home'.

The Radio Caroline ship ROSS REVENGE laid up in River Blackwater.

She arrived 1 August 2014 on her second visit to the River. She had previously been anchored in River October 1993 to August 1995. Date: 6 September 2015.
