Career:It is mentioned in Essex County Standard 7 March 1975 WMC_SB07_007 that MARDINA MERCHANT had been in the river some time and would soon be leaving. Owned by company from Piraeus, Greece, registered Hong Kong.

MARDINA MERCHANT had been arrested at Newhaven July 1974 following the collapse of Mardina Lines and was moved to the Blackwater by the Admiralty Marshall.
