The back of the photograph has "Don't fail to see Archie and his Band. England's Youngest Band". Also written in pencil "Miss V. Bird c/o Mrs W. Holder 1 Vine Cottages Snodland, Kent."

Photograph sent to Mersea Museum by Paul Bingham, who found it in the effects of a friend who had died. But no clues to the band. Most other effects were connected to Lancashire.
