Here are Robert (Bob) Stoker and Eleanor Geddes after their marriage at St. Peter and St. Paul Church on 8 July 1933. The parish register entry says Bobby was a mariner as was his father George. They lived at Stanley Villa on Coast Road. Eleanor, who came from Scotland, lived in Kingsland Road with Menzies relatives. Her father, Robert, was an engineer. Both fathers signed the register as witnesses.
