It was a night out for Mersea firemen at the Hall Barn on Saturday, when they held their annual dinner. Before the meal there was time for a chat and a drink, and above we see Mrs J. Ellis with Mr J. Ellis, county Deputy Chief Fire Officer; Sub-Officer O.J. whiting, and Mr A.L. Dunn, Assistant Divisional Officer.
