Emma Pullen born c1810. She went into service with Thomas May, Lord of the Manor or West Mersea. Eventually, he had buried four wives and wanted a fifth and married Emma.
After Thomas May had died, Emma married John Ward of Rewsalls Farm [22 Oct 1850].

Emma was also known as Mary Ann.
