Revd. Bramston Stain, Rector of East Mersea.
Charles Tiffin, James Croydon, Churchwardens

September 22nd 1802. Chatham Place.

The Revd. John Bramston Stane comes up in various sources of information, and the name is never spelt Stain. Is the spelling Stain here a mistake on the part of the stonemason ?
