Aloma was a separate small holding, next door to Tony, owned by Hilda Moss (née Taylor), James Hewett's sister in law. Hilda allowed her nephew Nicholas Nind to farm the land as it joined his father's land, behind 4 Hillfield Cottages.
The Taylor family also helped out at Layer Breton Hall and I believe Stanley Taylor may have kept some of his cattle there. The photo of Alf and Charles Taylor with Samuel Bullock, straw baling was probably taken there too.
