After working as a troop ship for the later part of WW1, she returned to the UK cJuly 1919, was refitted and put back into passenger service October 1919. After a failed conversion to exhibition ship BRITISH TRADE, she was eventually laid up in the Blackwater 20 August 1924 to 17 October 1925.
