Barfield Road and High Street North with Griffon Garage on the left. Griffon Garage is now the site of Tesco and in the lower centre are the Fire Station and Vince Close. Coronation Villas, close to top right, is now the site of Mersea Court on High Street North.
The first house on the right in Mersea Avenue is Claremont - it was later demolished and two bungalows built on the site.
