Search for Image ID ""Images for Museum-->Artefacts and Contents 81 of 108 WW2 propeller recovered by local fishermen. Thought to be from a Rolls Royce Merlin engine. There is no more information on the location found, though it is likely to be from local waters.
The specific model of Merlin has not been identified but the gear ratio on the reduction gear will provide some clues. Merlins were fitted to Spitfire, Hurricane, Mosquito, Halifax, Lancaster, Mustang and more.
