Donkey drawn milk cart outside the house called Beachy Head towards the top of Seaview Avenue. In the cart are David (left) and Douglas Cooke, on holiday in Mersea and staying with their Aunt and Uncle Joe and Connie Freeman. Joe worked for Clifford White and Hardie Weaver and lived with them when he first came to Mersea.
