JUST GEORGE - West Mersea's new lifeboat is named in memory of George Stribling from Weeley, whose bequest covered more than half its cost. The £214,000 Atlantic 85 boat was delivered to the station October 2014 and replaced the Atlantic 75 DIGNITY, which had been at West Mersea since 2001.
