Two Sugars Cafe - a former gun emplacement on Victoria Esplanade, West Mersea. Constructed 1940 by Taylor Woodrow. The rendering was removed, showing the fletton brick construction underneath, with traces of camouflage paint. The large steel doors were removed a long time ago, but their hinges are visible to the right of the large window.
