 The Horned Lizard, by Richard Perry Bedford, 1883-1967. It dates from 1936 and was donated to the Museum by Richard Bedford's widow after his death. It is about 36cm (14 inches) wide and 27cm (10.5 inches) high.

Answer: Museum records indicate it is from 1936 and Dr Edward Juler writes "I had the opportunity to check the catalogue of the 1968 Bedford retrospective that was organized just after his death. Horned Lizard is reproduced in this publication & dated c.1936 and this fits in with other research."
