 Boats on Peter Clarke's slipway, West Mersea. 

Second from the left is SCEPTRE, originally a ship's lifeboat, and for many years a workboat for Clarke & Carter servicing ships laid up in the River. After being laid to rest on the saltings for many years, she was rescued by Graham Lovegrove and extensively rebuilt.

On the right is fishing boat CK935 ( William Baker ).
