Mr Robert J. Clarke, Blue Row, West Mersea; for thirty seven shillings and sixpence per week
Mr A. Woodward, "Mona Villas," West Mersea; for thirty five shillings per week
Mr George Green, The Grange, West Mersea; for twenty shillings per week.

Councillor G. French proposed, Councillor W. Trim seconded, and it was carried unanimously; that the Lexden and Winstree Rural District Council be advised to accept Mr John Dixon's tender for ten weeks to commence Monday the 21st July, 1924, on condition that he employ Mr George Green as caretaker at not less that tweny shillings per week.
