These double-ended craft were a bit like the Norfolk cobles or doreys and I remember several at the harbour when I was a boy from the largest called ERN ( F16 ) to the bright-green painted AUDREY RUSSELL ( F100 ) named after the BBC radio personality. [ Charles Traill ]
