Leofleda was apparently exported to the USA and was sadly lost under tow in the Gulf of Mexico. In the 1970's I think.

Yes, she was sunk - under tow in the Gulf of Mexico - but was later seen and either sketched or photographed in Acapulco; still rigged and used as a night club or restaurant. How she got from the East to the West coast I do not know, not via the Cape Horn I shouldn't think!!
