 There are two concrete boats in this picture. On the left is CRETACRE, built Hamworthy in 1918 and owned in Mersea 1933-38. In the centre is MOLLIETTE - a well known local houseboat, built of concrete in Faversham in 1919. She lay in front of the VICTORY for many years, used as West Mersea Yacht Club clubhouse. Her remains lie off East Mersea, sunk as a target in World War 2.
