Eddie and Mary Meayers with the painting "April Cruise" at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Art Exhibition preview at the Martini Terrace at New Zealand House in Haymarket. The exhibition moved to the US Embassy, and the painting was sold at the exhibition to Graham Roe. It is still in the family, who were in touch in 2020.

Mary and Eddie lived in Enfield at the time, and for many years afterwards before coming to Mersea. Mary is wearing a dress she had knitted - she still has it in 2020.
