Chris Faircloth emailed June 2016:
Mona Faircloth was my late Auntie Mona. My great grandad Sam Faircloth first moved into the Birch area in the mid 1840s ( we think) from Finchingfield, his wife had a number of sisters who all married locally and so my grandfather had first cousins who were Whybrows, Burmbys and (if I remember rightly) Frenchs.
I have a photo somewhere of two elderly brothers with Abe Lincoln beards we always refer to as the Whybrow twins who were some of those cousins.
