Dear Sister,
Many thanks for your loving letter, pleased to hear that you are keeping well as it leaves me the same and to hear the wedding went off alright and I hope that she will have a happy time of it, and I expect you will be next on the board now.

Well dear Ivy, did you get the letter I sent last week as I wrote to you and one to Hetty both on the same date. Well Ivy, I hope that I get home soon to see you all for once more as it is a year I saw any of you now and I would like to see the boy Charlie get home.

Now, I have not got anymore to tell you this time and give my best love to all at home.
