Dear Sister,
Many thanks for your loving letter which I received quite safe and I was pleased to hear you are well as it leaves me the same at present.

Well dear sister, I had my photo taken and I sent some of them home, I couldn't send anymore, I give some of them to my mates and I never had much money so I could get any more so I will have some more taken as soon as I can.

Well dear sister, I hear that Lucy is going to get married. I wish I was going to be home so I could be with you all for the wedding but never mind, I hope to be with you soon, please God.

Well dear sister, I am school for three weeks ...
