 Royal Observer Corp in Mersea during WW2. Major Maughfling and Bill Clarry operate a Post Instrument Plotter with a Mickelthwait height adjuster attachment. This was used to mark aircraft onto a map grid. The Mersea Corps worked from a hut on 'Munson's Field' at the top of St. Peter's Road.
