Memorandum that I Edward Ransom of Peldon in the County
of Essex yeoman. Have this Day Sold to John White of the same Place
yeoman All that messuage or Tenement together with the Stable
Outhouses yard Garden and Premisses to the same belonging in the
Occupation of John Wright And also All that New Erected Bricked
Messuage or Tenement together with the Butcher Shop to the same
belonging in the Occupation of John Matthewman. All which
said Messuages or Tenements and Premisses are Scituate in Peldon
aforesaid, for the Price or Sum of Three Hundred Pounds. And Do
hereby acknowledge to have had and received of the said John White
the sum of One Pound and One Shilling in Part of the said Purchase
Money. And Do Promise and Agree to Execute a Conveyance to
the said John White and his Heirs of the s[ai]d Premisses. or to Such other
Person or Persons as He shall by any Deed nominate or Appoint In Trust
For him as soon as the same shall be made/And to pay the Expense of such Conveyance, And Do Agree
That the said John White shall and may Receive the Rents and
Profitts of the said Premisses from Michaelmas last as Witness
