In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Fookes
of Virley in the County of Essex Blacksmith do this ninth day of
September One Thousand eight hundred and thirty three make this my
last will and testament in manner that following (that is to say) I give
devise and bequeath unto my Nephew Jonathan Fookes of Virley
aforesaid Blacksmith who now lives with me All that Freehold to
Messuage or Tenement Blacksmith Shop Garden Ground heridaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging situate lying and being in Virley
aforesaid and now in my own Occupation And also All those three
Freehold Messuages or tenements and the Lands thereto belongoing containing
seven Acres or thereabouts with the rights members and appurtenances to the
same beloning situate and being in Great Wigborough in the said County
of Essex and now in the occupation of myself John Avis, Joseph Morland
and Samuel Thorrington And all other my Real Estate whatsoever and
wheresoever in the Kingdom of England And also All my Household Goods
and Furniture Stock in Trade Monies or Securities for Money Goods Chattels
Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever (Subject to the Payment
of my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences) To hold to him my
said Nephew Jonathan Fookes his heirs executors administrators and assigns
for ever according to the Nature and quality of the same Estates and
premises respectively to and for his and their own abolute use and
benefit I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said nephew
Jonathan Fookes to be sole Executor of this my said last Will and
Testament And hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me at any
time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last In Witness
whereof I have (to this my said last Will and Testament contained in
one Sheet of Paper) hereunto set my hand and seal the day and
Year first above written.
