He was the son of Walter and Grace Ingate; husband of Mrs. W. L. Ingate, of Tollesbury, Essex. His next of kin was his wife Louise Winifred. His height was 5 foot 7 inches, complexion fair & eyes blue. His religion was shown as Congregational on his RNR record. His date of birth was 25/9/1900.
