TitleHenry Heath at Pete Hall - Lions Talking Magazine 160
AbstractHenry Heath interviewed by Frank Osborn
Henry has taken over Pete Hall, and talks about it. Present house thought to be 1780. An earlier house supposed to be in Domesday Book, but Henry cannot find this. He runs an Insurance Brokerage business there, having formerly lived in London. Problems with vehicles hitting the wall outside. Married, 3 children, all working elsewhere - Vanessa, Victoria and Nicholas.
Henry is also Reverend Henry Heath in his spare time - assigned to East and West Mersea as John Swallow's [non stipendary] curate. Does not cover Wigboroughs and Peldon at the moment. [ Talk about history of Great Wigborough church by Frank is erroneous ]. Henry took over the house from the Bucks, though it was empty for 2 years. Major Maughfling was there before the Bucks and thought to be the last person who farmed the land - it is now owned by Colin Coan and his brother.
