Career:ULSTER STAR paid at least 3 visits to the River Blackwater.
She left the river on or soon after 5 October 1961 for Belfast.
She left the river on or soon after 27 August 1962 for Middlesborough.
She was laid up in the Blackwater for a short spell on the 14th July 1966 before going to Saigon as a store ship for US Forces. John Rennie, who was 3rd Engineer on her, recalls that the seamen's strike was on and the Chief Officer was doing the cooking. The World Cup was on television. A small boat brought out beer supplies.
