Career:Built as CONGRESS at New Jersey. NANKING-1917, EMMA ALEXANDER-1923. Sold 1940 to MOWT and converted to troopship. Renamed EMPIRE WOODLARK 1942. Released 6 July 1945 and laid up in River Blackwater.
12 August 1946 arrived Immingham.
1 November 1946 arrived Stornaway, tug EMPIRE JOHN. 2 Nov 1946 scuttled north of the Hebrides with a cargo of obsolete chemical ammunition.
