Voyage Record Card: No arrival or departure date but confirms in River Blackwater sometime between 23 March 1929 and 20 April 1929.

Essex Newsman 6 April 1929 reports Crew Marooned - six men of the crew of the MAYARO were in difficulties in the River Blackwater on Monday. They had gone in the ship's boat to Tollesbury and were blown ashore near Bradwell. They were eventually rescued and returned to their ship. The MAYARO had been in the River a fortnight.

Liverpool Journal of Commerce reports:
5 Apr 1929 anchored in River Blackwater since 3 Apr 1929
6 Apr 1929 reported sold for about £9,000 to T.W. Ward, Ltd., for breaking up.
