Career:The bulk carrier TACOMA CITY of Reardon Smith Line of Cardiff built by UCS at Govan as one of the 12 "Cardiff Class" types buit for them, Irish Shipping as Celtic Bulk Carriers and Cardigan Shipping. The ship was laid up in the River Blackwater with their EASTERN VALLEY ex CARDIFF CITY, under arrest after the collapse of Reardon Smith Line.
Reardon Smith Line ceased trading in 1985. The UK flag "City" ships were unusually registered at Bideford due to the family's origin.
Arrived as TACOMA CITY and left the River as BOUGAINVILLE.
Renamed BOUGAINVILLE-1985, ROSEBUD-1986, ROSALEEN M-1989, PETALOUDA-1991, MACFORCE-1992, FORCE-1994, GOKAR-1995, GOK-1998. Broken up Gadani Beach 9 Jun 1998.
