14 Sep 1960 stranded 10 m East of Churchill, Hudson Bay in pos. 58° 46' 42"N - 93° 53'24"W (after rudder failure in a strong gale).

From Lloyds records at Guildhall Library:
28 June 1945 British motor vessel ATLANTIC CITY and British steamer GRANBY in collision off West Goodwins. GRANBY holed aft above waterline.
2 July 1945 GRANBY left The Downs for Gravesend in tow of tugs EMPIRE LARCH and EMPIRE MARY.
3 Aug 1945 GRANBY left Gravesend for the River Blackwater, in tow.

Arrived 3 Aug 1945 departed 23 Sep 1946 [George Swieszkowski - Lloyds list]
