Built 1888 for Sir William Pearce. Then purchased by an American gentleman who kept her for 30 years at Brightlingsea. 1926 she was dry-docked at Wivenhoe. 576 tons gross, built Fairfield, Glasgow.

When Bayard Brown died in 1926 she was sold to Maharajah Jam Sahib of Nawanagar and renamed STAR OF INDIA (from The Story of Wivenhoe by Nicholas Butler, page 227).
In 1935 she was STAR OF INDIA Official No. 95054, owned by Lt.-Col. Lord Portal, registered Southampton. (from Lloyd's Yacht Register 1935).
Ian Allan ABC World War II Part Four says she was Anti Submarine yacht FY.036, became Accommodation ship 1944, returned 1946.
www.clydeships.co.uk gives her last name as RODOS. Scrapped 1951.
