The photo shows the sloping wall on the central frontage at the Youth Camp. The wall is now being extended westwards as the erosion becomes more widespread. The narrow strip of sand and shingle at the toe of the wall shows there is now very little material remaining on this frontage, to act as a supply of material for the beaches to the east and west.
