Reverend Frederick Yates at Great Wigborough Rectory.

Frederick Yates was born in Penrith in 1884, and married Edith Retallack-Maloney June 25, 1919 at St. Martins in the field, London. He was Army Padre in Malta, Gibraltar, Shanghai and Mesopotamia (now Iraq) during the great war and retired in 1933 with the rank of Major.
He served as rector of the Wigboroughs 1933 - 1950, retired to Gosport and died in 1952.
