 Peldon windmill was was on the main road almost opposite the Peldon Rose. The windmill had double shuttered anti-clockwise Patent sails driving three pairs of 4 foot burr stones. We do not have details of the steam mill. 

The windmill was demolished in 1906. We do not know when the steam mill was demolished. [Alan Smith]

The Mill House is still there.
