19 of 42 Herbert Mole and Kathleen Brown are pictured after their marriage at one of the Mill Road chapels in early 1940. Kathleen came from north east England and worked in London for a family who spent the summer at the Nothe. Herbert was a baker's roundsman for Fred. G. Smith and delivered bread to the house. Their married home was to be in Kingsland Road. Kathleen's sister lived with them for a while and was to meet and marry Wilfred Bacon of Tredget's Builders on the opposite side of the road.
