Wedding group was taken outside Weir Farm after the marriage of Kate Marriage and Arthur William Wopling on 30 August 1919 at the church of St. Edmund, King and Martyr, East Mersea. The witnesses were Victors Martin, Francis Caroline Wopling, Millicent A. Goodband. Arthur was a farmer like his father George and Kate's father George was a bailiff.
In 1841 the name of the farm was spelt Wier Farm.
