Plan of West Mersea School premises and land.
Indicates original land given by Rev. Musselwhite in 1871, land donated by Mrs Rudduck and land bought from Mr Bishop after WW2.
W. Herbert Bishop owned "Kingsland" in Yorick Road, just off to the top of the map.
Mrs Rudduck, who gave the land to the north of Barfield Road to the School in 1932, lived at The Gables. She had earlier (1929) given the land for the British Legion.
