MOLLIETTE, club in the 1930s. Later known as the Quarters Club. She broke her back when being pulled out of the mud berth, and it was then suggested she should be the Halves Club.
Taken off East Mersea and used for target practice during the war. Her remains are still there today.
The RAVEN owned by Whelpton was laid in creek to right during WW2 with bowsprit almost to railings [John Milgate]
