5.   We William Tunbridg Thomas French and William Raven
6.   Churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the p[ar]ish of
7.   Cressing in the Said County Do hereby certifie own and
8.   acknowledg John Lamb and his Family to be Inhabitants
9.   Legally Settled in that o[ur] p[ar]ish of Cressing In Witnesse
10.   whereof we have hereunto Sett our hands and Seales the
11.   first day of March Anno D[omi]ni 1707 And in the Sixth
12.   yeare of the Reigne of o[ur] Soveraigne Lady Anne by
13.   the Grace of God of great Britaine France and Ireland
14.   Queen Defend[er] of the Faith &c
