Abstract
John Mole [Moul], Husbandman, of West Mersea

Date of will: 5th May 1827
Date of death: unknown
Date of Probate: 27th June 1827

Probate granted in London on 27th June 1827 to the three children of John Mole: John, Mary Ann and James who were appointed Executors in the will. A monetary bequest of £25 was made to his grandchild Ann Mole, otherwise known as Ann Ladbrook (the daughter of Mary Ann Mole), upon her attaining the age of 21. Should she die before attaining that age, the money is to form part of the residual estate and divided equally among the surviviing children. The rest of the estate, including the Skiff Boat, is to be divided equally among the surviving children: John, Mary ann and James.

The will was witnessed by Thomas May and John Serg Norman.

1   I John Mole of West Mersea in the County of Essex
2   husbandman being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and
3   understanding praised be God for the same Do make this my last Will and Testament in
4   manner and form following that is to say I give and bequeath unto Ann Mole
5   otherwise Ann Ladbrook a natural Child of my Daughter Mary Ann Mole \the Sum of twenty five pounds of lawful english money/ to
6   be paid to the said Ann Mole otherwise Ladbrook upon her attaining the Age of twenty
7   one years but in case she should die under that Age and without leaving lawful
8   Issue then I will that the said legacy or Sum of twenty five pounds shall fall
9   into and be considered as part of the residue of my Personal Estate And as to for
10   and concerning my Skiff Boat or Vessel and all the rest and residue of my Personal
11   Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever from and after payment of my just
12   Debts Funeral Expenses and the Charges of proving and executing this my Will I
13   give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my three Children John
14   the said Mary Ann and James equally to be divided between them part and
15   share alike And I nominate constitute and appoint my three Children John Mary
16   Ann and James Executors of this my Will and hereby revoking all former and other
17   Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made I do declare this to be and
18   contain my last In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth
19   day of May in the Year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty
