1   Att this Court it is found & p[re]sented by the homage that John Hawkyns gent held to him & his heires of the
2   Lord of this Mannor as of this Mannor by the rodd at the will of the Lord according to the custome of this Mannor One Marshe or
3   Parcell of Marshground called Hawkes Marshe contayning by estimac[i]on twentie & eight acres more or lesse with the app[er]tenances
4   (as by the rolles of A Court here holden for this Mannor the seaventeenth day of January in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six
5   hundred fiftie fower appeareth) \After the last court and before this Court died therof so seised but who is his next heire the homage doe not knowe/ And because noe p[er]son cometh at this Court to clayme the p[re]misses & to take them out of the hands of
6   the Lord according to the custome of this Mannor Therefore the first proclamac[i]on thereof now here in full & open Court is solemnly &
7   publiquely made three times according to the custome of this Mannor (vi[deli]s[e]t) If any person shall come into this Court & iustly & rightfully
8   clayme & take of the Lord the sayd Marshe or p[ar]cell of Marshground with the appurtenances according to the custome of this Mannor he
9   shall be heard otherwise he shalbe excluded & debarred from his clayme thereof for ever

11   her heires of the Lord of this Mannor as of this Mannor by the rodd at the will of the Lord according to the custome of this Mannor Certaine
12   Customarie lands & tenements parcell of this Mannor called Dodes Croft, Mellfeild, Gobletts, Edlis & Billetts with the appurtenances
13   after the last Court & before this Court died thereof \soe/ seised & that   John Bullock who is of full age is her sonne & next heire To Which John
14   Bullock p[re]sent here in Court at his humble petic[i]on the Lord of this Mannor by his steward of this Court doth grant & deliver of
15   the sayd Customarie lands & tenements with the appurtenances seisen by the rodd To have to the sayd John Bullock
16   & his heires To hold of the Lord by the rodd at the will of the Lord according to the custome of this Mannor by the anntient
17   rents customes & services for the same due & of right accustomed And the sayd John Bullock is admitted therof tennant of the Lord
18   & gave to the Lord for A Fine as appeareth on the head of the rolle & did to the Lord his fealtie for the same e[t]c
