1.   In the name of god the ayght and twenty day of
2.   December fiftene yeare of of the Rayne of our lord James (1618) by the
3.   grace of god of England Fraunce and Iereland defender
4.   of the fayth I Jhon Goulstone of westmersey seafaring
5.   man being sick in boddy but in good remembrance god
6.   be thanked for it first I give and bequeth my soulle into the
7.   handes of Allmyghty god my creator and Redemer and my
8.   boddy to bestowed in the cristian Buriall as for the wordly
9.   goodes in manner and forme as followeth It[em] I give and
10.   bequeath unto my sonne Ezeschell (Ezekiel) goulstone one
11.   cottag and a garden plot called by the name of rookes
12.   and to the eyers lawfully begotten of his boddy and
13.   if my sonne doth [die] with out eyers my will and meaning
14.   is that my daughter margret tayler shall have
15.   my sayd house and my will and meaning is that if
16.   Jhon Tayler the sone of margret Tayler out
17.   live his mother that then he to have the house
18.   to hime and to his eyers forever It[em] I give and
19.   bequeath unto margret tayler my daughtter
