Top step 1. Rupert Pullen. I don't know how he is related to the other Ru Pullen but he was a balchelor who lived with his mother on the corner of High St and Melrose Road. He worked on the smack PURITAN with his brother Clifford 'Chippy' and Chippy's son Don.
2. Probably Hugh Pullen, he lived on the corner of Coast and St Peter's Road. He Married Margaret Green.

I think the building is the shelter on the beach by the Tea Gardens which disappeared during the war.
